Villa Esperanza is a 1.43-acre affordable housing development located at 508 West Mission Boulevard, in the heart of downtown Pomona. Designed to address the city’s growing need for supportive and family-oriented housing, the project delivers 57 thoughtfully planned one, two, and three-bedroom apartment homes for families, veterans, and individuals emerging from homelessness. Two contemporary three-story buildings frame the site, introducing a modern architectural language that revitalizes a long-vacant parcel and contributes positively to the urban fabric. The layout fosters community interaction, with residences organized around shared outdoor spaces and anchored by a 5,700-square-foot community center. This hub supports a range of resident services and neighborhood programming. Outdoor amenities including a barbecue area, community garden, and tot-lot activate the site and support a holistic approach to resident well being, promoting recreation, social connection, and personal growth.
